David Conner (NGS Advisor to Ohio), who resides at the Center for Mapping, has been extensively involved with the Ohio GPS CORS (continuously operating reference stations) network. The Ohio CORS is the cover story in the December 2004 issue of Professional Surveyor. This article describes the nation's first statewide real-time kinematic (RTK) GPS network. For additional details, the article is available online at http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS/Articles/OhioDOT.pdf. Data from the entire Ohio network of 52 CORS will be available to the public for post processing within a couple of months, as part of the National CORS Network - see http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS/
